Culti-Vate Live Part 2

by Culti-Vate

Last Wednesday Culti-Vate attended The Great Spring Event at Whitfield Estate, which was held to raise money for the British Red Cross.

For the event Culti-Vate produced a number of planted crates for the table decoration in the catering marquee, each crate was planted with edibles. A mixture of four different edibles are found in each crate, some of the plants used were tarragon, wild rocket, lavender, rosemary, chervil, edible pansies and many many more. Not only did the crates have plants they also had a printed leaflet that gave you all of the information needed to tend to your planted crate. All of the boxes were for sale, we sold quite a few but we still have plenty left for our next event. Each box was different, with a mixture of edibles, so you could pick and choose which crate suited your needs best.

Not only did we have all of our lovely crates advertising our blog and designs in the marquee, but we also had a small stall, which drew a lot of attention for us to give out a lot of business cards and sell quite a few greetings cards! So all in in all it was a great success.

The Event was a lovely day out in a beautiful location on Whitfield Estate, and luckily it didn’t rain. Everyone was extremely welcoming and enthusiastic towards our crates! We therefore would like to thank everyone on the organising team for inviting us!
