Culti-Vate Homemade #001 Terrariums
Terrariums, everyone is crazy about them at the moment. They are the perfect way to bring a little bit of greenery & outdoors into your home. We at Culti-Vate have loved them for a really long time but still don’t own any so we decided it was about time we made one… or 3!
So there you go, these are Culti-Vates first three terrariums! They are so simple to make, anyone can do it and they are very cheap. The large and small jars were recycled pickle jars, and the hexagonal jar was a charity shop find for £2.50, the plants came to a total of £8.00! So making your own terrariums is a cheap alternative, if you are stuck for a bit of inspiration on what to fill your jars with or how they should look asthetically there is plenty of inspiration out there, from endless images in flickr & tumblr to etsy pages selling planters & you can even find some great books on amazon. ‘The New Terrarium’ & ‘Terrarium Craft’ Terrarium inspiration from others…
